Description

Broadway Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble, with some areas rendered, and features alternating dressed quoins. The roof is made of pantiles with coped verges and ashlar stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and is basemented, with a two-storey, three-bay frontage. It includes 16-pane sash windows set in dressed freestone surrounds. The central door opening also has a similar surround and features a late 19th-century half-glazed door topped with a stone triangular pediment supported by consoles. There is a flight of four stone steps leading up to the door, which is flanked by wrought-iron handrails.
