Description
Bowden Hill Cottage is a cottage dating from the 16th century, which was refronted in the early to mid-18th century. It features roughcast walls and a pantile roof with coped verges and brick stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and consists of four bays. It has two-light stone-mullioned windows, with each light containing a casement with glazing bars. There is an additional two-light casement with glazing bars on the first floor. The door opening is centrally located and framed by a moulded stone architrave with a triangular pediment supported by brackets, leading to a glazed and panelled door. An attached building, Bowden House, is located to the right of the frontage but is not of special interest.
