Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a datestone on the north gable dating back to 1612, with alterations made in 1790 and additional work in the 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, with some areas rendered, and features coped verges, brick stacks, and a slate roof that has a course of stone tiles at the eaves. It stands two storeys tall with an attic and consists of five bays. The windows are 3, 4, and 5-light moulded stone-mullioned windows with stopped labels, and there is a 2-light mullioned window in the center of the first floor, where the central mullion has been removed and replaced with a 2-light casement. To the left of the ground floor, there is a single-storey late 19th-century ashlar bay with a hipped slate roof. The central gabled ashlar porch has paired half-glazed outer doors and a heart-shaped light on the gable face, while the inner door opens in a moulded freestone surround with paired plank doors. The interior contains some features of interest.
