Semi-detached house. C17, refronted and enlarged early C19, altered mid C20. Roughcast over rubble, quoin strips, hipped slate roof, paired shaped brackets to overhanging eaves. Plan: 2 cell and cross passage refronting on South gable end of farmhouse lying North South, already extended East with addition of The Lawn (qv). 2 storeys, 3 bays; first floor 16-pane sash windows, ground floor moulded lintels carried on console brackets, inserted C20 cruciform windows, central flat roofed wooden Doric porch,-panelled double doors with inserted-lights, fanlight; shaped parapet right over one bay, 2 storey block, fronting wing linking The Lawn, C20 cruciform window first floor, French windows below. Interior: moulded plaster cornices to front rooms, stick stair with mahogany handrail, scant remains of earlier dwelling in service rooms at rear.
