CHILCOMPTON CP CHURCH LANE (South side) ST65SW 4/14 Salmon Monument in churchyard, about 12 m south of south aisle, Church of St John the Baptist -

Chest tomb. Earliest legible inscription to Henry Salmon of 1790, though chest is probably earlier. Dressed stone. Oblong chest on a moulded plinth, corner urn pilasters, decorated panels with inscriptions to north and south sides, cambered slab top moulded around its outer edge.
