Description
This description is for a pair of Salmon family monuments located in the churchyard, about 7 meters south of the Church of St. Vigor. The monuments are chest tombs, with the one closest to the church dedicated to Henry Salmon, who died in 1662, and the other to Thomas Salmon, who died in 1757, although the chest for Thomas is likely older. Both tombs are made of dressed stone and share a similar design, featuring plain oblong chests set on moulded plinths, topped with hipped slabs that are moulded around the lower edges.
