Description

Nos. 91 and 93 are two semi-detached houses located on Periton Lane in Minehead, dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of snecked rubble with freestone lintels, featuring a gauged flat arch over the ground-floor left and long and short quoins. The houses have a pantile roof with brick stacks at the gable ends and a plain tile lean-to roof over a central shared porch. The layout is double-depth, with two storeys and a three-window range. The central lean-to porch has stone flanking walls and 20th-century plank doors. No. 93, on the right, has a one-window range with mid-19th century three-light casement windows, each with three panes per leaf. No. 91, on the left, features a two-window range with 20th-century two-light casement windows that have small panes. The interiors have not been inspected. There are subsidiary features including a rubblestone wall approximately 2 meters high, attached to the front right-hand corner, extending about 5 meters forward, 25 meters to the right, and 5 meters back to enclose a car park. A wall attached to the front left corner steps forward about 2 meters and turns left for approximately 13 meters, featuring a timber lintel over a former door.
