Description
Nos. 1 and 3 North Green are two houses dating from the early to mid-18th century. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble with wooden lintels and feature a Stonesfield-slate roof with brick stacks. The buildings have a two-unit and a three-unit plan and stand two storeys high. The five-window range includes three-light casements on the first floor, with an inserted garage in the middle bay. No. 1, located on the left, has a doorway with a slated canopy situated between the three-light casements. No. 3 has a doorway to the right of centre, a three-light casement to the left, and a single-light window on the extreme right. The roof has stacks at both ends and a central bay, with a dividing parapet indicating that the houses have exchanged the middle bay.
