Description

Fairwater is a large Georgian house located in the grounds of Taunton School. The building features a three-storey south front made of stucco, adorned with pilasters. It has hipped slate roofs, a cornice, and a blocking course. The façade includes seven sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance front has a pediment that displays the date 1844, indicating that the stucco and alterations likely date from this period. Additionally, there is a doorway with a rusticated surround on the north side. Fairwater and Taunton School together form a group.
