Description
Upton Hall is a house that dates from around 1840 and is now part of a school. It is constructed of stucco over brick, with the roof not visible behind a parapet. The building is two storeys high and has a square plan featuring a central entrance hall. The façade is symmetrical, with a three-window arrangement and a central doorway that is set within a portico porch supported by paired Tuscan columns. This entrance is flanked by 16-pane sash windows. Above the door, there is a window framed by a moulded architrave and an entablature. The building also features a moulded cornice and a blocking course above, with a sill band that returns to the plain sashed side elevations. An axial stack is present as well.
