Description

This outbuilding, dating from the 1840s, is located to the rear of Poplar Farmhouse in Saughall Massie. It is constructed from stone rubble and features a slate roof. The building consists of two bays; the first bay is a single storey, while the second bay has two storeys. The first bay includes a small entrance, and the second bay features an elliptical-headed cart entrance with a key. The right side of the building has a slightly canted angle and includes an entrance to the first floor accessed by steps. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
