Description

The Elms is a house dated 1670, as indicated by the date stone that reads "S G A 1670", with later extensions. The building is roughcast with a slate roof and consists of two storeys and two bays. The eaves are raised above gable kneelers. It features small windows with casements. The returns have corbelled bands over the ground floor. On the ground floor, there is a 4-light double-chamfered-mullioned window, although the central mullion is missing. To the left, there is a small window that is likely from a blocked door. The first floor has a 3-light single-chamfered-mullioned window with a moulded plinth below and a dripmould and date stone above. There are also mullioned windows on the left return.
