Description

The former barn to the rear of The Manor, possibly dating from the early 18th century, is a five-bay structure with an additional bay extension. It is constructed of dressed stone with some brick and features a slate roof. The first bay is lower than the others, which have a brick upper section. There are two entrances on the south facade and ventilation slits on the north facade. The east gable end includes a first-floor entrance accessed by stone steps, while the west gable end has an entrance with a pitching eye above it. Inside, the barn has tie-beam trusses with struts and principal rafters that are supported by wind braces, and the timber members are stop-chamfered.
