Description
This is a farmhouse, dating from 1710 as indicated by a datestone reading "RB/1710." It is constructed of brick with stone dressings, and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic, and originally comprised two bays. It features a stone base, two brick bands, and coped gables with kneelers, along with stone quoins. The windows have brick flat arches, with the exception of the second window on the first floor, which has a cambered head. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. Dormer gables have small-paned casements; the dormer in the first bay has a diamond-shaped stone datestone with the inscription and a heart motif. A gabled porch is located at the right-hand end. The building has gable-end stacks and a low, additional bay has been added to the right return.
