Description
No. 222 on Staplegrove Road is a building likely dating from the 18th to early 19th century, with some alterations made since its construction. It stands two storeys tall and is constructed of colourwashed rubble. The ground floor features banded quoins and a slate roof. There are three casement windows, each with two or three lights. The upper floor's central window has a banded lintel. A verandah with a slate roof is present on the ground floor, flanked by French windows that have marginal glazing bars. The entrance is a round-headed doorway with a raised surround and a recessed door. At the rear, there is a long two-storey range made of red brick.
