Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard immediately south of the porch of the Church of St John the Evangelist. It dates from the late 16th century to early 17th century and is made of red sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with a steeply chamfered cornice, which has subsided into the ground. There are no visible inscriptions on the tomb.
