Description
Pomeroy's Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse that may include parts of an earlier building. It features a render that is grooved to resemble ashlar, a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves, and brick stacks on the returns. The house has a double pile layout with an extension at the rear. It stands two storeys tall and has three bays. The front includes a 16-pane sash window and a 12-pane sash window on the first floor, with a half-glazed late 19th-century door below, topped by a leaded fanlight and sheltered by a flat-roofed wooden trelliswork porch. On the left side, there is no window on the main block, and the roof slopes down from two storeys to one over a 12-pane sash window, with a three-light casement below and a plank door beyond. The end bay on the left features a pointed arch-headed casement with divided tracery where the wall meets the barn. The interior has not been seen.
