Description
Home Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse, possibly a remodelling of an earlier structure. It features a slate roof that is hipped at the ends and has deep eaves. There is a rendered axial stack with a shaft that projects through the roof, located to the right of the centre, in front of the ridge. The building has a single-depth plan with three rooms wide and a front door positioned to the left of centre.
The exterior is two storeys tall and presents an asymmetrical four-window front with regular fenestration. The front door is a 19th-century panelled type with an overlight, and it is sheltered by a flat porch canopy supported by columns. The windows include three 2-light 19th or 20th-century casements with glazing bars, with a similar window above the front door, and other first-floor windows featuring three-light casements. The farm buildings in the yard have been converted into houses and are not included in the listing.
