Description

Burnville is a large farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It has a rendered exterior and a hipped slate roof with rendered stacks. The building is two storeys high and features a symmetrical front with three bays, along with a flat-roofed porch that is likely from the 20th century. The front door is glazed and is topped by a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars. The ground floor windows are tripartite sashes, with two panes per light, while the first floor has three pivot-hung windows from the 20th century. Inside, the early 19th century shutters, doors, and fireplaces remain intact.
