Description
Ryall's Court is a large house, dating from around 1840, that has been converted into a school. It features a Gothic architectural style, with a rendered exterior and stuccoed quoins. The building has a slate hipped roof, which is partially hidden by a later pierced parapet. There is a moulded cornice and stringcourse running along the top. The house is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are three-light casements with pointed arch lights, glazing bars, and label moulds.
At the centre of the building is a two-storey and attic porch tower, which has an embattled parapet and a four-centred arch doorway with label moulds. Above the doorway, there is a splayed first-floor oriel window with a quatrefoil frieze and a four-centred arch niche. The southeast garden front has three bays, with the centre bay slightly advanced. On the ground floor, there are two splayed bays that feature French windows. Additionally, there is a later 19th-century northwest wing that is two storeys high and includes a range of Gothic casements.
