Description
No. 11 and the premises of The Women's Institute, dated 1840, originally served as a school room and master's house. The building is primarily stuccoed, while the master's house (No. 11) features roughcast. It has a single slate roof with gabled ends. The school room, located to the right, is designed in a Tudor style and is single-storey, showcasing large three-light ovolo moulded mullion and transom windows with leaded panes and dripmoulds. At the center of the range, there is a porch with a moulded gable topped with a finial, a moulded Tudor arch doorway, a dripmould, and an inscription above that reads "Infant School 1840."
To the left is the master's house, which is two-storey with a three-window range. It features small two-light casements with glazing bars and a central plank door topped with a flat hood. A brick chimney stack is located at the ridge.
