Detached cottage. Early C19. Local stone roughly cut and squared; clay pantiled roof with simple gables; stone chimney stacks. Two storeys, 2-bay irregular fenestration. Small pane casements with 2 lights set in plain recess, no window lower bay 1: boarded door with plain stone lintol over right of bay 2; lean to against east gable. Interior not seen. Simple cottage apparently little changed since being built.
