Description

Eddystone House is a house located at the end of a row, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of roughly squared local lias stone with a double Roman clay tile roof featuring plain gables and a hipped corner. Brick chimney stacks are also present. The house has an L-shaped layout and stands two storeys high with three bays. The upper floor features small-pane, two-light casement windows of an older style. The lower bays have six-pane sash windows beneath timber lintols, and a central six-panel door with glazed toplights, all set within a recessed surround beneath a timber lintol. A simple return elevation faces a public car park. The interior remains unexamined.
