Description
The well head, located 5 metres south of the Gatehouse at Combe Florey House, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from ashlar sandstone and features a four-centred arch with moulded jambs and imposts. The structure stands one and a half metres high and frames a pool below. At the time of the last survey in March 1983, it was partially obscured by ivy, adding to its charm.
