Description

Orchard Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 17th century. It is rendered over cob and features a triple Roman tiled roof, with a large, rendered, stepped external stack on the left side. The building has one and a half storeys and includes a single-storey extension to the right. The cottage is arranged in a 2:1 bay configuration and has 2, 3, and 4-light casements with glazing bars, along with flat-headed dormers. The central entrance is a plank door, and there is a similar plank door and a 3-light casement in the extension to the right.
