Description

Shutterne Cottage is a cottage from the 18th century. It has a rendered exterior and a thatched roof that is half hipped to the left, with a brick chimney stack on the right. The building is two storeys high and has two bays with windows that are placed irregularly. On the ground floor, there are two 2-centred arch windows with marginal glazing, which date from the early 19th century. The first floor features 2-light casement windows. The left side of the cottage has a 20th-century entrance, which is flanked by a 2-light leaded window with perpendicular tracery on the right, a 2-light leaded casement on the left, and a 3-light window above.
