Description
This is a 17th-century grain barn located 40 metres west of Manor Farm House, which was rebuilt in the late 19th century. The barn is constructed from random rubble and features a triple-Roman tile roof with a coped verge on the left side. The front facing the road is blank, while the left side has two ventilation slits, with the central one in a plain stone surround. There is also a later 19th-century casement window in a brick surround. The right side has a rounded corner with a broad door opening to the first floor, which has double plank doors beneath a wooden lintel, along with a 19th-century casement window in a brick surround at ground level. The barn is primarily noted for its group value with the nearby Church of St. Mary.
