Description

This is an 18th-century stable located 75 metres south of the front of the Manor House and Manor Farmhouse in St Wanstrow. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with dressed quoins and has a roof made of a mixture of Welsh slate and asbestos sheet. The stable is two storeys high and has two bays. On the ground floor, there are small 19th-century casement windows, while above them are two large oval pitching eyes set in dressed stone surrounds. To the left, there is a door opening with a massive stone surround, and to the right, there is a 20th-century opening. The right side of the stable is supported by a pair of large buttresses.
