Description
Mead House is a house dating from around 1750. It features a rendered exterior, a slate roof, and brick end stacks. The building has a rectangular shape with a symmetrical facade, standing two storeys high and comprising three bays. The windows are 2 and 3-light mullioned types set in plain stone surrounds, with a moulded cornice above the ground floor windows. The central door opening is also in a plain stone surround and has a 20th-century glazed gabled porch with a plank door. To the left side, there is a two-storey wing of lower height that has two bays and 20th-century casements. Adjacent to this wing is a single-storey lean-to.
