Description
Turners Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1750, with alterations made in 1810. It is constructed from squared and coursed local limestone and features a slate roof with rubble stacks. The building has a symmetrical facade and a lobby entrance. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with two-light plain mullion windows set in stone surrounds. Above the ground floor opening, there is a cut stone plaque that reads 'J.L.Y. 1810'. The central door opening is topped by a hipped roof porch supported by hexagonal wooden columns, and it has a 19th-century half-glazed door.
