Description

Fernwell is a house dating from around 1650, which has been heavily restored in the 20th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble with rough quoins and features a double Roman tile roof with coped verges and brick end stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high with two bays and irregular fenestration. The windows are primarily ovolo moulded stone mullioned windows with two lights, except for the left bay on the first floor, which has a plain concrete mullioned window. There is a central stone gabled porch that includes a half-glazed door from the 20th century.
