Description

White Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of The Street in Wanstrow. It features a roughcast exterior, a string course below the parapet, and a slate roof with brick end stacks. The facade is symmetrical, consisting of two storeys and three bays. The first floor has tripartite sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has two and three-light stone mullioned windows. The central door opening contains a 20th-century half-glazed door, which is sheltered by a wooden canopy supported on wooden brackets, also from the 20th century. At the rear, there is a catslide roof.
