Description

Number 32 on Fore Street is a public house that has been converted into a shop. It was built in the early 19th century and features a stucco exterior with a painted stone cornice. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a three-window range. Each window has flat arches and moulded frames, and they are fitted with 20th-century horned 6/6-pane sashes. On either side of the upper floors, there are low relief plaster decorations of horses galloping toward the center, which served as the logo for a local brewer. The shop front was updated in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
