Description

Number 58 on High Street is a mid-18th century building that has been altered over time. It is two stories tall with an attic and features two windows. The exterior is finished in painted pebble dash. The steeply pitched tiled roof has two hipped dormers, and a modern chimney is located at the back. On the first floor, there are sash windows; the window on the right has a stucco head, while the left window features an ornate cast iron balcony that projects over the shop fascia. The ground floor has a modern entrance on the right and a shop front on the left. Numbers 36 to 58 on High Street are part of a group, with numbers 54 and 56 noted for their local interest.
