PAWLETT CP BRISTOL ROAD (West side) ST34SW 5/52 Monument to Charles Booker in churchyard, about 7 m south of chancel, Church of St John the Baptist - GV II

Chest tomb. Dated 1773 though chest earlier, to Charles Booker. Dressed stone. Classic oblong chest on a cavetto-moulded plinth, slab top cavetto-moulded around its outer edge. Inscription panel to south; other inscriptions decayed.
