Description

The monument to Joseph Charlton is a chest tomb located about 9 metres south of the south porch of the Church of All Saints in Loose. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of stone, resting on a doubly-stepped stone base. The tomb features a chamfered plinth, a corniced lid, and fluted side panels. There is a vault entrance on the west side, and the south side is dedicated to Joseph Charlton, who died in 1790.
