EDINGTON CP BROADMEAD LANE (West side) ST33NE 9/43 Walled gardens about 70 m south of frontage of Edington House - GV II Two walled gardens. Late C18. Coursed and squared rubble and Flemish bond brick, pantiled cappings. Two attached square gardens, that to west completely enclosed, that to east open on its north side. High walls, that between the 2 gardens with attached rubble shelter with pantiled roof, wall to frontage rises to form pediment, central circular opening with casement and low doorway. Doorway on roadside with plank door. Included primarily for group value with Edington House (qv).
