Description
Cemetery Lodge, dated 1855, is constructed from lias stone with dressed quoins and a chamfered plinth. It features three gables facing the road and has a tiled roof. The central gabled section has side buttresses and a tunnel-vaulted entry passage with a pointed barrel vault, above which is a quatrefoil that displays the date. To the right, there is a two-storey lodge accessed from the passage, which includes a range of three stepped lancets. The left-hand gable, which may have served as a coach-house, also contains a triplet of stepped lancets. At the rear, this section features an arched entrance with a clinker-type plank door.
