Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb from the 17th century, located about 8 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Isle Abbots. The tomb features a dressed Ham stone plinth that is sunken, and the body of the chest consists of four large slabs. The top slab is moulded around the lower edge, although the inscriptions have decayed over time.
