Description

Cherry Tree Cottage is a 17th-century house constructed from coursed and squared lias stone, topped with a thatched roof and featuring three 19th-century brick ridge stacks. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of four bays. It has a variety of 19th and 20th-century casement windows, including one, two, and three-light designs, all with wooden lintels. The door is located to the left and is a plank door. To the right, there is a thatched outshut with a swept-down roof, which includes a two-light wooden-mullioned window with diamond-paned leaded lights and a pair of plank doors. The interior is notable for its ceiling beams and fireplaces.
