Description
This semi-detached cottage, located about 50 meters south-west of the Church of St Michael, dates from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed from local stone rubble and features a thatched roof with a half hip and a plain gable, along with a brick chimney stack. The cottage has two storeys and a single bay. On the roadside, there is a 2-light horizontal bar casement window beneath a timber lintel in what was once a doorway, and above it, a matching single light casement window that cuts into the thatch. The north gable includes a 3-light and a 2-light matching casement, with a door to the right in a lean-to extension. The interior has not been seen. The cottage has been extended and linked on the south side by a 20th-century wing to Belstone Cottage.
