Description
Meadow View is a detached cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is built of rubble Doulting stone and features a stone slate roof with coped gables and brick chimney stacks. The cottage has a two-storey "L" shaped plan, with the entrance located in the gable end. It includes 2- and 3-light wooden casement windows, some of which are set within moulded wood mullion frames. The plain, vertical boarded door is located under a double-Roman clay tile lean-to porch. There is a 1-2 high stone boundary wall along the highway verge, which has a slatted wooden gate to the east.
