Description

Meadowfield is a house and cottage that have been combined into one structure, along with an attached outhouse. It dates from the 18th century and is built of red brick in an indeterminate bond, while the outhouse is made of coursed stone. The roofs are covered with pantiles and feature stone copings and square kneelers, along with rendered stacks. The building has two storeys and three windows. There is a modern rustic porch leading to an off-centre top-glazed five-panel door. The windows are Yorkshire sliding sashes with stone cills, and the ground floor openings have stone lintels. Stepped brick eaves courses create corbels beneath the kneelers. The roof has a moderate pitch with slightly swept eaves, and there are stacks at the right end and junction. A small outhouse is located on the left side.
