Description
Mount Pleasant is a detached house dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of random rubble Doulting stone and features a double-Roman clay tile roof with a stone tile ridge and two stone chimney stacks. The house is one room deep with a central door, which has been extended to the left. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window front. The ground floor windows are stopped and hollow-chamfered stone-mullioned windows with direct glazing, while the other windows are set in 20th-century mild-steel frames. The entrance door is made of narrow vertical boards with iron furniture and studs, positioned under a square lintel. Both the ground floor windows and the entrance door have dripmoulds.
