Description

This is a packhorse bridge over the River Frome, likely built in the 17th century. It is constructed from rubble Doulting stone and measures 1.5 meters in width. The bridge features three semicircular arches, with the central arch being the tallest. On the upstream side, there are buttresses, while the downstream side has large square pilasters. The walkway is cobbled. As of November 1983, the stone parapets were missing and a temporary structure made of wood and galvanised wire was in place.
