Description

The newspaper kiosk and west platform at Williton Station were built in 1862. The kiosk is weather boarded with a monopitch asbestos slate roof and is a single-storey structure with two bays. It features two-light casements and a door located on the right return. The raised platform is constructed of random rubble and is covered with tarmac, measuring approximately 40 metres in length, with ramps at either end. This kiosk and platform are part of a notable group of well-preserved railway station buildings.
