Description

Williton Railway Station Booking Office is a booking office and waiting room built in 1862. It is constructed from squared and coursed red sandstone with a plinth and a slate roof, featuring barge boards and a tall stone stack on the left side. The building is single storey and has one 2-light casement window on the left and two on the right, all with raised surrounds and sills. There are double doors set in a raised architrave, and a projecting canopy supported by cast iron brackets. The interior retains its original fittings. This building is part of a notable group of well-preserved station buildings.
