Description

No. 143 East Reach, which includes Nos. 1 and 3 South Street, is a mid to late 19th-century building located at the corner with South Street. It is constructed of white brick with some red brick dressings and stands two storeys tall beneath a slate roof. The gable end features bargeboards with pierced panels. The building has three sash windows that do not have glazing bars, and there are ironwork window box holders. A contemporary shop front is situated on the corner, with glazing divided by colonnettes that have foliated capitals.
