Description

This is an 18th-century building on Bridge Street, located alongside South Street. It is a red brick structure of three storeys, originally featuring four sash windows with glazing bars arranged in a diagonal pattern, each topped with a flat brick arch. A decorative band is located at the second storey. The eaves have been altered, replacing a former cornice decorated with modillions. The roof is tiled. Modern shop fronts have been installed. The building forms a group with numbers 8 to 22 (even) on the same street.
