Description
Nos 5 and 7 on Silver Street is a mid-19th century building, possibly dating from earlier. It has a two-storey front made of minted brick, featuring a moulded cornice and a slate roof. The façade includes three windows with sashes that do not have glazing bars. To the left, there is a larger double shop front from the 19th century, supported by pilasters and topped with a moulded cornice. To the right, there is a smaller 19th-century shop front. The central entrance consists of double doors with two panels. This building is included for its group value with Nos 1 to 7 (odd) and Nos 158 to 160 (consecutive) on East Reach.
